Café MAEV
MAEV is a light, plant filled coffee bar on a corner in Ede. The site had to carry that mood in photography and type, and still do the practical work: the menu, the high tea and high wine packages, and a reservation that is one tap away on a phone.

The story
MAEV serves specialty coffee and home made pastry in Ede. The room is the selling point: tall windows onto the street, warm brick, a pink tiled bar and plants everywhere. So the site leads with photography of that room and keeps the interface out of the way.
Warm off white, a soft terracotta accent and a high contrast serif for the headings give the brand a voice of its own, away from the standard hospitality template look. Every page ends where a visitor usually wants to end up: reserving a table or calling the bar.
The content that changes most often sits in the CMS: the menu, the high tea and high wine packages with their prices, the service pages (connecting, fresh and local, allergy aware) and the photo section. Same foundation as Café 't Huchie: Next.js 16, Payload CMS 4 and PostgreSQL, self hosted with Docker on Coolify.
